MAKING Soldered company
Soldered electronics started as a high school garage project of founder and today’s managing director David Zovko in 2013.
After 3 years of hand making electronic boards for friends and hobby colleagues, David is registering company e-radionica and starts professionally to work for the maker’s community together with 2 new employees.
In the next 5 years the company designed and produced numerous products and services for makers around the world with exponential growth.
From 2022 the company is changing name to Soldered Electronics marking a new phase in company development.
MAKING History
2013
Even before the company was official David launched a first Kickstarter campaign which was the first of its kind on the local market.
Unfortunately not a successful one but a great experience for all successful campaigns which will come in future.

Selling LED diodes and some other basic electronic components, such as microcontrollers, supplying makers’ needs on the local market at that time.
Since that beginning we have been selling, designing and making only open-source electronics products.
2014
Making the first microcontroller board Croduino Basic. In the coming years this Arduino compatible board will be sold in more than 6.000 pieces.
Design of the first educational program with Croduino kit for an entry level user packed with Croduino board and other compatible electronic components.
Kit was a commercial success with 2.500 kits sold.
2015
Making Croduino Pico as a cheaper version of the commercially successful Croduino Basic microcontroller board.
Making Croduino Damba as a smaller and wearable version of the commercially successful Croduino Basic microcontroller board.
Expanding offer of educational programs with Croduino kits for different needs and areas of interest with design of Hobby, IoT and Refill Croduino kits.
2016
Making the first in-house design of boards, sensors and actuators resulted with company products like BMP180 temperature and pressure sensor breakout and Stepper motor driver board.
Start offering technical customer support with engineers answering the questions to customers stuck with their projects within 24 hours.
2017
Making Croduino Basic 2 as the second generation of the commercially successful Crodurino Basic microcontroller board which will become the most sold company’s product in the next few years.
Making Croduino Nova as the first WiFi-enabled board design allowing makers to connect their hardware to the internet in an hour of work.
Start of making customer tutorials covering the usage of all boards in simple terms with technical information, work principle description, instructions for connecting and basic code.
2018
Making easyC as a standardised and easy to use system of cables and connectors for prototyping and connecting electronic boards based on I2C communication.
2019
Testing financing new products with the first crowdfunding campaign for Maker LED display project which resulted in collecting 222% of the founding goal.
