Description
The Soldered I2C bus extender P82B715 breakout solves a common problem for I2C users: the bus was never designed for long distances. Its 400 pF capacitance limit keeps practical wiring to only a few meters, and when you try to reach a sensor on the other side of a room or enclosure, the signals can become unreliable. Built around the Texas Instruments P82B715, this Qwiic-native board raises that limit and lets you run a standard I2C bus over long, low-cost twisted-pair cable. The datasheet rates the chip for I2C communication across more than 50 meters of wire.
