Flux is used during soldering to clean the board from dirt and possible oxidation (if any) which results in quality solder joints – solder is much easier to catch in the solder spot. In addition to cleaning, it also provides better wetting properties, which means that the solder will adhere better and more properly to the legs of components or solder joints. All this makes soldering much easier. In addition to all the above, this flux contains activators that further improve soldering, to the point that soldering is as simple and high quality as with solder paste.
