This board enables LoRa protocol communication via the Atmega328 microcontroller. The Atmega328 is a well-known Arduino-compatible 8-bit microcontroller.
In addition to the Atmega328, there is also the RFM95W LoRa transceiver. Thanks to it, this board can send and receive data from the LoRa gateway or from another such board. In order to achieve the maximum reach, it is necessary to connect an IPX antenna to the antenna location in the connector provided for it. The board contains a connector and a charger for a standard lithium battery. A very important thing about LoRa is low consumption, and this chip definitely makes it possible: the consumption in sleep mode is only 4.5μA.
