LoRa is short for “Long Range”. It allows for extremely long distance communication, while consuming minimal power. This breakout allows the user to connect quickly and easily via SPI communication. The operating voltage is 5V and the frequency is 868MHz, which is standard for Europe. To achieve maximum range, it is necessary to solder an 86mm long wire to use as an antenna.
