Reflow oven is used to achieve a precisely controlled soldering cycle using solder paste. Thanks to the controller, this machine will follow the preset solder profile very precisely with minimal deviations, which will result in perfect solder joints. Regardless of the size of the board and the thermal mass on it, thanks to 2 IR heaters, this oven will solder everything properly. You can forget about cold solder joints, incorrect flux evaporation and board cleaning after the process. You can use the machine for the classic soldering process, i.e. prototyping, but also for “re-reflow” method if some joints are not correct.
Using the LCD screen and 4 buttons it is possible to choose between 7 preset soldering profiles. There are already all the standard profiles for leaded, lead-free and low-temp solder paste. If you need to adjust your soldering curve, you can also do this precisely, entering the temperature for each time point. The T962 oven is so popular that you will find tutorials all over the internet on how to further improve your oven, mechanical upgrades and firmware updates.
