E-ink display board praised as "the best I have ever used" with excellent documentation and stellar support. Customers said setup is simple, with micropython compatibility. Hardware is well-designed and open source. However, refresh rates are slow (up to 20 seconds) with no partial updates, and colors may disappoint. Battery life impressive at one month per hourly refresh.

I didn't know what to expect at first; I had only seen beautiful e-ink screens online. However, it was a great experience. My package arrived at my door in just three days and was very nicely packaged. I had everything up and running in a single night! I recommend taking a look at the official quick start guide, and maybe the official Arduino AppImage if you are on Linux and completely new to these things.
Got stuck with some image showing from the URL, but the support was stellar and helped me quickly
Nice, well designed board with excellent documentation. Minimal effort to use with micropython. Colors a bit disappointing.
Wir haben es als Ampelstatus für die LKW-Entladerampen in unserem Unternehmen eingesetzt. Es funktioniert wie erwartet und ist einfach einzurichten.
Looks cool, but too slow for my usage.
I have used many e-paper display boards in the past. This is the best I have ever used.
Very well designed hardware.
Great Library.
Great support.
Highly recommended.
Really cool piece of hardware!
The downside is that the refresh takes up to 20 seconds, flickers multiple times in different colors, and unfortunately, there is no partial update.
Other than that, I'm really glad to have it. Currently, I display pictures from an SD card in order, and it periodically communicates with my webserver, which uses CropperJS. Here, my wife can upload, crop photos, and select/sort pictures for display. On a 18650 battery, it lasts up to a month if a picture changes once per hour. I've also made a custom case with an 18650 holder.
I love that it's open source – all schematics, software, and other technical details are available on GitHub.
Much love to Soldered! <3
PS. I'm waiting patiently for Inkplate 6 MOTION ;)
