Desoldering wick is a very practical tool for every workshop. It’s a braided copper wire, soaked in flux, so it catches solder effectively. If you have a spot from which you need to remove the solder, this strip will do a great job. Unlike the discharge pump, this strip can completely remove the solder from a hole or a pad. 1.5m should last long since you spend only one or two centimeters per one desoldering.

Isopropyl alcohol is an alcohol of high purity which can be found in almost every workshop. It is useful for cleaning printed circuit boards, because it evaporates quickly and allows the removal of greasy deposits (such as traces of flux/paste) and dirt. It is also used in 3D printer cleaners and all other applications where cleanliness is important. NOTE: it also has antibacterial properties.

MG995 is a powerful servo motor that is capable of spinning and controlling things that a small hobby servo motor could never accomplish doing. It comes with a bunch of accessories so you could connect it easily with the outer world, and it’s being controlled like every other servo motor, via PWM.

This lithium-ion battery is small, light and durable. Through standard JST 2mm female connector, it will yield 3.7V which will supply your projects for a whole day (and night!). KW12-3 is a standard microswitch – it’s activated by the external force on the lever. Releasing the force we deactivate it. This system is very quick and practical, it allows dynamic changes in the switch. The lever itself is able to rotate – it has a little wheel on the top. Microswitches like these are used in PC mouses, automobile industry, communication devices, microwave oven doors etc.

For the purpose of automation in working with plants, there is an electronic valve for the water (or other liquid?). If you need a way to control some fluid using a microcontroller, here it is! It is actually the electronic solenoid which when activated, the fluid passes through his pipe, and if not – will not. Accepts pipe diameter of1/2 and at the inlet has a filter for all the unwanted particles.

It does not contain the pump or even some additional electronics, so make sure to have an external pump or use faucet water with pressure which is large enough. Systems that have a reservoir at a higher altitude than the valve, or to be exact, that apply the principle of hydrostatic pressure will not work because the pressure will not be large enough.

These magnetic door switch sensors are already seen, if not – then in old movies for sure where they were used as anti-theft devices, ie. alarm systems. In fact, it is a magnet and the reed switch inside a pair. When they are close to each other (recommended 13mm or less), reed switch closes.
